People Helping People in Lower Fairfield County For 30 Years!The Center’s mission is very specific: to provide counseling and support services to victims of sexual violence and to eliminate violence through community-wide education programs.
That’s it. Our state-certified counselors work specifically with victims/survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones to help them deal effectively with their traumas. This focus allows us to stay current with the latest information, laws and statistics relevant to sexual violence.
The Center works closely with area police departments, hospitals and the Department of Children and Family Services to coordinate appropriate services for survivors and to increase the likelihood of successful prosecution of sexual offenders.
And, we keep educating the community. Prevention is the cornerstone to eliminating sexual violence.
